![]() ![]() With this build, Solomon is the perfect teacher for everything Mortal Shell has to learn. He's got enough durability for newer players who might take some extra hits, but rewards high level players who can parry and hit their weapon abilities consistently. On a hit, the target suffers 4d8 additional fire damage, and must succeed a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become paralyzed until the end of your next turn. Make a piercing attack, gaining a reach of 10ft. Molten Spike When activated, a burning spike will come out from beneath the sword and the character will jump forward inflicting high damage and applying the burning effect. Once per short rest you can expend your action to to spring forth the molten spike hidden within the sword. Continue straight and head to the hill where Baghead is located. Defeat the Grisha and open the Frog Chest to acquire 1x Molten Spike which can be used to unlock the Molten Spike Ability. ![]() Turn right at the bottom to follow the water into the Big Campsite located inside a valley. This shell has a little something for everyone, but can scale up as you progress and learn the mechanics of the game better. When used, a spike will come out from the sword and the character will jump forward performing a devastating attack. Use the watery ramp down located right from the chest. You pick it up from the statue inside of the tutorial. The Hallowed Sword can be upgraded with Key Items they’re always found in the same place, too. That means you can unleash three of these back to back if you wanted, which will feel like cheating against even the tankiest boss. (Image credit: Playstack) The Hallowed Blade is the first weapon you’ll come across in Mortal Shell. If youre all about slowly chipping down enemies, this is the weapon for you. But, to help make it more enticing, each hit landed will also deal poison damage to the target. ![]() Both the Molten Spike and Mechanical Spike abilities can devastate enemies, and can usually stagger bosses, while only costing two resolve each. Weapon Abilities Mechanical Spike: Activate by pressing R1+L1. The Hammer and Chisel weapon you get is the fastest in Mortal Shell, but with the obvious downside of dealing the least amount of damage per hit. One is that it has pretty good resolve gain on hit, synergizing with basically everything else in Solomon's kit, but also way better weapon abilities. It may use a bit more stamina than the Hammer and Chisel, but it has two major positives going for it. But, between the two, the Hallowed Sword is the better choice. Your weapon choices really come down to the Hallowed Sword and Hammer and Chisel because of Solomon's low stamina. ![]()
